MADRAS Film Society, in association with National Film Corporation and the Deputy High Commission of Sri Lanka, presents a Sri Lankan Film Festival from October 12 to 16 at South Indian Film Chamber Theatre.  
The festival will be inaugurated by PM Amza,deputy high commissioner, Sri lanka, on Friday, and will mark the golden jubilee year of the Madras Film Society.
Actress Radhikaa Sarathkumar, Asoka Serasinghe, Saman Weeraman of National film Corporation,Sri lanka, and Nalli Kuppuswami will also participate.
Anantha Rathriya, a film based on a Tolstoy novel, will be the inaugural film, followed by Sankaranthi, a film revolving around the protogonist, his wife and assistant. Anjalika, with Tamil actress Pooja playing the heroine opposite Channa Perera, Sri Lankan herocum- director, will be screened on October 13.
The screenings will be at the South Indian Film Chamber Theatre at 6.15 p.m. every evening. For further details, call 24958691.
